Great Experience Can't understand the other posting. We contracted with Doug Jarvis 09/08 for a complete kitchen renovation. From the demo (which we did) to completed installation was 6 1/2 weeks, which beat our anticipated schedule by a few weeks. DO NOT HIRE THIS CONTRACTOR HE IS INCOMPETENT/HOSTILE We hired this contractor in 03/07 to remodel a kitchen, build a new washroom & bathroom etc. The contract is very vague and does not provide any detailed information, he is hostile toward the homeowner once the contract is signed, wants the total amount of project up front in 3 or 4 weekly installments, does not provide the materials timely, does not follow the contract (tile in place where hardwood should be), does not provide good quality work, he does not show up for 1... read more
