Jarrell Plantation is a tidy window onto everyday rural Georgia, not a grand mansion, and that’s its charm. The self-guided loop meanders past more than a dozen original structures: an 1847 heart-pine farmhouse, an 1895 family house, a steam-powered sawmill, cotton gin, gristmill, cane-syrup evaporator, barns and outbuildings.
