Dr. Pisapia is an excellent and talented surgeon. He is kind and caring and goes above and beyond for his patients. Dr Pisapia deals with emergency trauma and is skilled at treating brain and spine tumors, Chiari malformations, hydrocephalus, and peripheral nerve disorders.
Our daughter was born at westchester hospital and sent to the NICU for something completely unrelated to her brain or skull, but Dr Pisapia determined she had Craniosynostosis, just by looking at her skull shape. To everyone else she looked completely normal. Scans were performed and he was right, her skull was fused too early in the back.
