I have been trying to reach Dr. Gaines since July 2024. The office has never returned my call nor my pharmacy to refill my rx. I have been seeing him for about 3 years and find this very annoying that I can't find out what's happening. This is very unprofessional and is a disrespect of duties.
Always greets you with a smile and knows how to make you feel safe and normal in such a uneasy world. As soon as I walk in he always ask how have I been and how I feel about the treatment plans. Never forced or walking out without knowing exactly what's going on. Being someone dealing with the death of a loved one and not liking to talk about my feelings. Very rude, doesn’t care what anyone has to say including the patient. Aggressive and threatening during conversation. I could not possibly recommend any less.
Takes time to explain plan of care. Very Positive attitude and active listening with patient concerns and questions
Dr. Gaines helped us immensely with our Autistic, behavior challenged child. He kept our child away from the harmful medications and had our child on a good regimine. He prepared us so that we could be better parents.
He is a wonderful doctor. Don't believe negative reviews . He is intelligent and compassionate. Would highly recommend him. Great psychiatrist and I can truly say he is an amazing doctor. !!
Dr Gaines is an egotistical, terrible psychiatrist who thinks he knows it all. He has little respect for his patients safety or for the educated opinions of staff. Wouldn’t recommend him for anyone struggling with mental illness.

My wife's insurance covered Dr Gaines on an outpatient basis only she went to see him after a complete mental breakdown spent 5 days in the hospital prior to seeing him he was all very happy about how happy he was going to make her feel. Dr. Gaines reminds me of Doogie Howser he is a young thinks he knows it all and when it comes to a diagnosis on a form for the insurance company he called you in to put your own diagnosis down and asks what you want him to say. My mission is 2 C him gone.
It is shocking to see how poorly Dr Gaines treated our son. His apparent lack of effort or desire to assist left me wondering why he was even in the medical field. The comments that he made and the decisions that he reached put our son at risk. This simply leads me to believe that he either has no idea of what he is doing or he simply does not care. Our son needed his help and Dr. Gaines discharged him long before he should have.
