Dr. jared Bortman helped diganose and treat my very rare GI condition called Superior Mesenteric Artery Syndrome. He actually cares and listened to my problems. Thank you Dr. Bortman, you helped me get my lfie back.
If your doctor has recently retired as many in this area of medicine have, Dr Bortman is an excellent choice for your continued care. Knowledgeable, patient, and he listens. His common sense and logical approach is refreshing.
Dr. Bortman was supposed to do a procedure on me. He did not do what he what should have been done. A month later, Dr. Bortman’s had his nurse call me to reschedule the same procedure. The procedure was expensive, and he wanted to do it again so he could charge me again. This is the first time I saw Dr. Bortman and it will be the last time. I had good insurance, and he wanted me to use it. Now I have to have the procedure done again because he didn’t do his job. I would not recommend this doctor.
Dr. Bortman is the best gastroenterologist that I've ever had the pleasure of working with. He is down-to-earth, genuine, and truly cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen and is never patronizing. He made my first endoscopy (which I was admittedly nervous about) almost a pleasure! I wouldn't think of ever letting anyone else besides Dr. Bortman handle my gastroenterology needs. He is simply wonderful!
Tried to get in to see Dr. Bortman, but waited on hold for over 1hr 10min before I threw in the towel. Unacceptable to make someone wait that long. Clearly you should hire more staff or find more efficient means for communications to cut down on your insane hold times.
