Nov 2025 Dr Ament is great. His office scheduled the virtual session quickly to review both lumbar and cervical issues. Dr Ament reviewed both sets of MRI, my experiences, and discussed alternatives and path forward. Answered all my questions in clear language. Jan 12 2026 Update since original post above. Dr Ament operated on my cervical mid-Dec 2025. Two level disc replacement. Absolutely zero pain, no brace and was walking around same day. Dr. Ament is the first doctor since my initial diagnosis 6 years ago that I truly felt he had my best interest in mind. I felt throughout the whole process that getting me back to a healthy and functional state was his priority. He is personable, humble, and very professional! I felt very comfortable voicing any concerns I had and didn’t feel like any question I had was going to be met with an eye roll. 10/10 would recommend seeing him if you have any trouble in the areas he specializes in!
I was really impressed w Dr Ament. The first thing he asked me was what was important to me and what I wanted to get out of the surgery. He discussed different hybrid solutions to give me the most mobility. He moved quickly and got a price quote and a surgery date scheduled within 3 days time. And that involved getting 2 other surgeons lined up to assist w the operation. Dr Ament is a good listener, explains things well and is very personable. Brilliant surgeon. Fixed problems from prior surgery with very specific causal analysis. I absolutely recommend Dr. Ament to anyone who has spine or other issues in his areas of expertise.
