Dr Allred is my new orthopedic Dr after seeing a surgeon for over a year and a half almost for severe shoulder pain, arthritis out of nowhere at 44, bone spurs, calcifications, shoulder impingement which has made living a daily life next to impossible including simple tasks like hair washing. Dr. Allred quite literally saved my life 6 years ago. 5 or 6 trips to the ER and being sent home over and over again until a wonderful ortho who happened to be on call heard about a young girl who has just had a baby with a knee injury. He knew I had sepsis/septic arthritis and rushed me into surgery. But it didn’t not stop there. Surgery wise Dr Aldred is fine but it’s his bedside manner that is lacking. I cried half the time leaving his office because of his manner. I like doctors that are strait forward and explain things well but he literally said either do the surgery or deal with the pain. It’s the way he is with speaking. I went and got a second opinion and that doctor actually clarified what was going on instead of these are your choices do it or don’t
Shattered my clavicle skateboarding in 2016, broken right at the end too so he had to use some thing called a dog bone, eight screws and a big old plate to get it back together. Now I just have a reinforced robot arm, works perfectly. This review was long overdue. Thanks Dr. Allred and staff!
