I fractured my hip back in 2019 and you put 3 Pins in it. I had only wished we had discussed some more about doing a total hip replacement. At that time I had chronic osteoporosis and it has gotten worse, my hip is now bone on bone and deteriorating. I will never understand anyone getting pins in when later on it will just be this constant unbearable pain. I regret having you as my surgeon and under no circumstances recommend you to anyone.
I would not recommend anyone to him. He didn't care at all about my knee injury. Would not listen to any thing I told him. He even tried to tell me I didn't know when or how I hurt my knee which I do. He said all my knee problems where due to my weight and not cause when I fell. I had never had a problem with that knee prior to that. Tried telling him how much pain I am in and how my knee is affecting my life he didn't care and said surgery isn't for pain and that's what the cortisone shots are for. I would never recommend Dr. Jared Allred. After a devastating knee injury, I was given almost no guidance, told not to attend PT, and left waiting months while my condition worsened. By the time I finally got a second opinion, I was told surgery should have been done months earlier. Over a year later, I’m still in PT, still limping, and still searching for answers, and I believe much of this could have been avoided with proper care.
Dr Allred is my new orthopedic Dr after seeing a surgeon for over a year and a half almost for severe shoulder pain, arthritis out of nowhere at 44, bone spurs, calcifications, shoulder impingement which has made living a daily life next to impossible including simple tasks like hair washing. My prior surgeon would tell me after physical therapy, or a manipulation then a lavage we would schedule the surgery and kept stringing me not to mention charting incorrect information in my chart over and over. Dr. Allred quite literally saved my life 6 years ago. 5 or 6 trips to the ER and being sent home over and over again until a wonderful ortho who happened to be on call heard about a young girl who has just had a baby with a knee injury. He knew I had sepsis/septic arthritis and rushed me into surgery. But it didn’t not stop there.
