Worst customer experience ever! We bought an 18-inch akoya pearl necklace for daughter's college graduation from JARED's. She wore it two or three times, then put it on again and two pearls spilled onto the floor. The insides of the pearls were jagged, which you see easily with the naked eye, and they sawed ... or cut ... the string. We took it back to JARED within a couple of months, and we were charged $100-plus for repair. They would not warranty it and said they were giving us a "reduced rate" because we purchased it there. My husband and I had such a horrible experience here. This was supposed to be such a romantic time for us, and Jared's ruined the whole thing. It's a long story, but I will be brief. I wanted a ring that could be certified "Conflict Free." Most places will tell you they don't deal with conflict diamonds, but they can't prove it.
