I purchased a bracelet yesterday and was charged $149.99 for extended warranty. Last night I noticed online that the same purchase the warranty was $124.99 so I was charged $25 more . When I called the store they said they are aware but I would have to come in for a credit and I live an hour away If they are aware , why was I overcharged in the first place I tried to get contact info through their website chat for corporate executives but no one would provide an email address BUYER BEWARE of this business Unethical practices
I brought a necklace in for repair- the clasp had broken and I was hopeful they’d be able to place a new one. The person I spoke with asked if the necklace was from Jared to which I said it wasn’t. She then picked up the necklace and examined it, but then said, “we can’t accept it if it’s not ours”. I drove the hour and a half to get to Jared because of the reputation. I also called them and asked them if they do jewelry repair. When I got there, they looked at my ring that needed to be soldered and everyone was very friendly, including the only Male Gentleman there are behind the counter. I visited this jewelry store and was disappointed with the customer service. When I walked in, I wasn’t greeted, even though several employees noticed me. After I looked around for a minute, the assistant general manager came over but didn’t seem friendly or welcoming. She wasn’t very helpful and made me feel dismissed.
