Extremely RUDE, insulting serviceâ I kept seeing commercials for this jewelry store and decided their selection may make it a great place to shop for wedding bands. My fiance and I expected the vultures to leap on us as we entered the store, as all people working on commission behave. However, I have never experienced worse customer service anywhere. PERFECT SERVICE! I had a completely different experience this week. I went to Jared as the 5th store that day trying to find a wedding band that went with my custom engagement ring. It was very difficult, as the band is a unique shape. I was treated wonderfully, offered a bottled water when I arrived, and didn't feel pushed at all over anything. Terrible Jewelry Repair! It was an unbelievable experience at this store. While looking for wedding rings, the salesperson offered to clean my fiance's engagement ring. It was a platinum Tiffany Legacy replica that I had custom made. It needed resizing, so I inquired to the cost and time needed for that. It could be done the same day, so we decided to have it resized to half a size smaller. A couple hours later, the ring was returned to my fiance. Wish I would have listened to the negative reviews! Unbelievably disappointed in the service and quality. I still have not received my engagement ring back. My fiance purchased my engagement ring from Jared's last August. In November the stone became completely loose and by going to another jeweler we found that the setting was actually that of a smaller diamond. We took it in to be repaired. do not go to Jareds Do not go to this store, they are pushy and give you attitude when you do not like the selection of diamonds they bring out. My fiance and I only bought his wedding band from them because it was at a good rate and one of our mutual friends bought his band from there and he said it was sturdy, so we figured we arent spending more than $180 so lets give them a try.
