I don’t know if it’s the builders or contractors they use, but Japhet homes are probably the worst homes I’ve seen. They cut so many corners. I bought a Japhet home that was built in 2013. Ever since it was built, there have been endless issues. From the plumbing to electrical to the fixtures falling out of the ceiling, walls bowing out, cracks all over the outside, major plumbing issues leading to major costs in repairs, cheap materials, etc…it’s been problem after problem. I recently went to an open house for real estate agents at one of the beautiful Japhet Builders' new homes. Jeff explained numerous things about the home building process, including information about post-tension slabs and the process to limit the chance of foundation problems seen here in Texas with the clay soil.
