Their store is closing down tomorrow. We managed to get here a day beforw they close down. So my experince here is: Slow, Expensive and not as tasty. I've manage to go there with my friends. It's quite a small and clean spot. Prices are significantly higher than other places, so we are expecting some good food and service. However they are just way too slow, it took literally an hour for them to get our meals prepared. Owned and operated by a husband and wife, this Japanese Hibachi and Sushi Bar is a great experience for anyone looking for a show or just a quite lunch. The wife is hostess and waitress, seating the guests and seeing to it their orders are taken. She also brings out any soup and salad ordered before the main meal at the Hibachi, and any other non-Hibachi related services. The husband is the chef. Very good food and polite staff. A bit on the pricier side, but for the amount you get, you won't leave wanting more.
Clearly they're just starting out, but I'm looking forward to good things in the future. We had delicious sushi and an excellent entree, we'll be back to try the Hibachi!
Pretty disappointed in just about everything, especially considering the combination of overpricing and skimpy serving size. I can get more food for less in NYC (and I do, often). The quality of a few items were particularly terrible. The ikura was soggy and deflated with no "pop." The unagi was rife with bones.
