Carmen is hands down the best hairstylist you will meet. She is super knowledgeable, courteous, warm and friendly. Her service is beyond phenomenal, she makes sure you are comfortable, checking in on you during treatments, even handed me the remote if I wanted to watch YouTube /Netflix movies during the waiting phases for the treatments to set. This is my second time coming here and even more to come, for sure!

Poor customer service. When you book online it will be pending for request and you will have to talk to Carmen via text which is inconvenient for busy people. People are busy. Please put the instructions in your booking website. Texting isn’t good. She also has poor customer service, please work on your customer service skills. Call first before booking here as the payment will be pending on your account when you booked it already. I recently got the Japanese straightening treatment, and it was my first time trying something like this, so I was a little nervous. But the stylist did an amazing job! I had very long and dense hair, so it was challenging. She was super patient and clearly very experienced. For the price, the quality of service was fantastic, and my hair has never looked better. I definitely feel like I got my money’s worth and will absolutely be coming back!

I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with Carmen. I assumed because she did not have a lot of reviews that she may be new at Japanese straightening but that is not the case! She has been doing this for YEARS!!! I’ve had my hair straightening at big salons in the Gold Coast and River North and no one has ever made my hair this straight and this soft! She closely monitored every step, and she is a true hair chemist! She is a hidden gem and I look forward to her doing my hair in the future.

Carmen is such a good worker for the Japanese hair treatment. I literally just found her through google and was scared at first to make an appointment since i have never had a hair stylist before, im glad that carmen was a good first experience 💗. The process is very long and throughout that she stayed patient. She cares about ur hair and provides answers to all of ur questions. Ive had this treatment for about four months now, will be going back to get a root touch up soon!!
