I went to this shop first time for my Honda Accord front brake pads replacement. After checking pads at the shop, Jay (owner) told me that I don't need to replace them now, because the pads have 80% life left and it will last another 2-3 years. A week ago, one of the local Honda dealer told me that the pads have only 3mm left and told me I better replace them soon for safety (estimated cost of $495) while I was for some other repair job there.
