Very good Sushi & Service! I have eaten here twice and will certainly be going again. The sushi and sake are great! Service is prompt and friendly. The restaurant is bright, cheerful and clean. I am a sushi fan and have had the pleasure of having sushi in all parts of the USA and Japan. The Japan House Restaurant was a surprising find!
I have to start off and qualify this review by stating that I'm a sushi snob. I've eaten sushi all over the world and would coose it any day over any other type of food. I know there is a vast preponderance of mediocrity out there. When my family and I moved up to Sandpint ID in 2006 from Portland, we were very disappointed in the lack of any sushi choice locally. The best kept secret in CDA This restaurant is one of the best in Coeur d'Alene. The food is always superb -- I never feel gross after eating here. The service is excellent -- very personal. In fact, we're on a first name basis with the owners after eating there only two or three times. The menu includes sushi and gourmet Japanese with many kinds of teas and sake.
