Bone dry roast chicken bought today supposedly “just coming out” Nice and hot. So dry. Had to be yesterday’s re-heated. Husband wanted to throw the remainder out. PLEASE- if it’s not fresh cooked- don’t pass it off as such. Never again!
Every time I come here, it is a delight. Whether you’re looking for specialty ingredients for some fancy recipe you’re dying to make, an obscure product suitable for your dietary restrictions, impressive floral arrangements, or just your typical everyday needs, Janssen’s has it. If they don’t, nobody in Wilmington does.

Whether it is perusing the market, or stopping by J's Cafe (-on a better day!), I find this store has premium eats at every turn. I am so glad they have a wonderful, appealing cadre of Baked Items, too (i am going tomorrow, not sure how stocked they will be). A fabulous soup/salad bar, beverage aisle, deli, cheese area...Janssen's truly does it right!
