I was seen by Dr. Chao for the first time today. I choose this Dr. because her office is near to me and not based on reviews. I had a great experience with Dr. Chao today, I felt like she listened to me and only focused on the things I needed. She answered all my questions and left feeling better understood and o learned a few new things as well. I will continue to see Dr. Chao. I optimistically chose her based on her “get to know me” video, waited 3.5 months to be seen, and in person she’s literally the opposite of everything she claims to be in said video.
As a transman, a father, and a person w chronic pain, I can say that Dr chao has been the kind of doctor I need every time I see them.nothing if not supportive, and I appreciate that my meetings with her are a conversation and she values my knowledge.
I had waited 5 months to see her in my 1st visit. I chose Dr Chao based on her video and about-me written on Swedish's main site, describing their providers. I naively thought that Dr Chao would ask me questions to connect all of my concerns as it seemed her bio video showed her desire to treat the whole health after dissecting a patient's concerns and history.
