Safe to say this clinic is not for me. Last time I spoke to Jann Shiels she was very pushy and rude.
Jann Sheils is the worst doctor I’ve ever been to. She not only misdiagnosed me with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome after one test, but when I asked her what that was and what it meant for me, she literally told me to look it up on WebMd. She refused to explain a condition she diagnosed! This was also at the height of Covid and she wasn’t wearing a mask (no one in the office was) and she said she was relieved I wasn’t wearing mine because her husband thought the whole thing was exaggerated nonsense. My experience with this office was unpleasant to say the least. I went in with some gynecological concerns and to get some blood work done. Jann Shiels is very old fashioned and very direct. When I got my blood work back showing I had out of balance thyroid numbers (as I expected with a history of it), not only did Jann not discuss all of my medication options, she actually tried arguing with me against using a more natural option that a naturopath friend recommended for me.
