When I lived in the Nashville area (1995-2002) Dr. Christenson was my therapist for several of those years. She is wonderful! I went through many sessions of EMDR therapy with her for PTSD. The EMDR therapy took the sting out of the traumatic memories from childhood and adult trauma I suffered. And in the 20+ years since Dr. Christenson did EMDR therapy with me the sting of those traumatic events has never returned. I think she is skilled with EMDR and does a decent job assessing readiness. In my experience, however, she was very reactionary and rigid. Instead of helping me understand my feelings she went ballistic with her own. She handled my situation very indelicately and haphazardly. I regret confiding in her.
