I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Doneza and her team. I felt genuinely heard and validated after years of struggling with pelvic pain. She took the time to explain everything thoroughly and created a treatment plan that made me feel hopeful again. Her surgical skill and compassionate bedside manner are exceptional. Amazing experience before and after surgery. Her office is beautiful and her office staff always reached out to follow up with me.
Doesn’t seem to care as much as she does for other patients that I’ve seen. Very rude, sassy and I saw NO empathy OR compassion from someone who has the audacity to call herself someone in the “healthCARE” field. Doesn’t flinch at a patient in pain or distress. Saw nothing but eye rolls and impatient huffing. Extremely disappointing and hoping to see some changes in the future, at least for the sake of others. If I could give negative stars, I would
Dr. Doneza and her team are outstanding. Not only is she an exceptionally skilled surgeon, she excels in every aspect of patient care. Dr. Doneza took the time to answer all my questions, carefully walking me through my options and the pros and cons of each. On the day of surgery, I felt informed, supported, and treated with kindness, competence and dignity at every step. Dr. Doneza even called personally after surgery to check on my recovery and answer any follow up questions. We are so lucky to have her in our community!
Dr. Doneza is kind, caring, compassionate, a good communicator, and most importantly she is incredibly competent. I’m so thankful that she’s here on The Big Island, and that I found my way to her. She didn’t give up on me or dismiss my symptoms like so many others did before her.
