I’m her daughter and people need to know she abused me as a child physically and mentally and at age 25 she still tries to find ways to make me feel like I’m nothing. My dad is my hero, but my mom is toxic she isn’t a good person
As a mental health professional there are times when I have to say or do what is ethically necessary to ensure a safety net. Others may find this offensive or threatening but it is my obligation to the community.
Janice Payne was extremely helpful as a counselor to our family. She worked with our teenage son who was struggling with depression, anxiety and low self esteem. She taught him useful coping tools and problem solving skills and helped him see himself in a more positive light. We found her to be caring, respectful and professional to our son to to our family. I would highly recommend Janice.
The worst counselor I've ever experienced. My experience with Ms. Payne left myself and my partner in shambles. To this day I am still troubled by my meeting with her. She was willing to jump to conclusions and make outrageous assumptions regarding my teenage son that indeed proved to be way out of line and indeed false. I wouldn't let her counsel the family dog!
