Dr. Lyon's is a wonderful doctor. She takes the time to truly get to know her patients and see the whole person. She answers questions with years of knowledge and experience. She is professional and caring. She offers support that is realistic.
EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL COMPREHENSIVE
Dr. Lyon is excellent. While her specialty is ob/gyn she will listen to your other issues and concerns, explain and recommend options, as well other doctors who I have also found to be excellent. I have learned so much from her as she takes time to explain things clearly as well as show you pictures and diagrams. I am so thankful there are doctors like her that still exist in this world of 'big medical' offices.
My experience at Dr. Lyon's office was excellent. She greeted me in the waiting area, made me feel very comfortable and is very knowledgeable. She was very thorough and patient. She listened to what i had to say and had great suggestions on how to improve my healthy lifestyle. Her staff was also very helpful making appointments for another specialist while i waited. A+ from this teacher!
Dr Lyon is probably the best doctor I have ever had. She is always willing to listen and really seems to care about your well being. She never seems judgmental even if you make mistakes and is willing to answer any question even if you think they're dumb. She can be slightly scatterbrained about prescriptions, but if you call her about it, she usually is right on top of getting things done for you at any time of day.
This was the most painful pap in my 20 years of getting them. I literally yelped and was trying to scoot off the table. I cried after I left that office. I felt so uncared for and when I tried to call back to follow up to a text she sent (that I didn't understand), I was told I would be charged a phone consult fee. My insurance only covers office visits so I had to hang up. I should have run out when I saw the old, cramped office. A 1-hour pap took 2-hours because of long wait.
I have been going to Dr. Lyon for over 20 years and look forward to every appointment. She is very knowledgeable in women's health and gives you compassion and understanding during the appointment. In taking care of your health, she does an outstanding job of explaining what is going on in your body and what your options are to take care of the condition. I have been recommending her to my friends for many years.
Dr. Lyon is Amazing! She spends an great deal of time, showing you pictures and literature, if needed, and makes sure every question is answered. She is willing to consult with you over the phone, and has great availability, even on her off days! You are able to reach her when you need her! She really takes the time to understand your issues and concerns. I feel very comfortable with my health in her hands. I have a high level of trust with herOnly complaint is that the office needs a face lift.
