I hope this place is not really closed. This is my go to spot. Small place but excellent food and best seafood pancake anywhere. Food is fresh, well made and always delicious.
Was intending to come back this weekend but looks like this may be closed for good - I hope I'm wrong as this was one of my go to Korean spots. My favorites are the pancakes, whether seafood or chive/vegetable, hyojongang special soup, samgyetang (ginseng chicken), nuruk kalbi. The quality of the dishes was always pretty good, and they seemed to use less fatty quality cuts of beef on their dishes, and the dishes weren't too oily and were well balanced. We wanted Korean food in the area, found this place in Yelp. Homey nice clean small place, home-style Korean food, cute self-made small manual book. i think the couple manage the whole eatery. Little lady busily and patiently serving on the floor. We had tofu stew, doesn't look like the usual we had in the larger restaurant, more like soup but very delicious. The stir fry beef also very tasty. Love the place!
