She is a compassionate doctor who asks a lot of questions to better assess a medical issue.
I am lucky to be alive because of the care I received from this doctor 15 years ago. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. I am amazed she is still practicing and worry for anyone with the misfortune to be under her care.
Dr. WInikoff has been great at managing my thyroid cancer. She's very careful, orders follow up tests, tracks the numbers carefully. I'd recommend her . . .
Doctor Winikoff is awful. Here is why: I saw her 10 years ago. She didn't pay attention to my symptoms. I didn't pay attention to her and went to a urologist, Harvard educated, he got things right almost immediately. Winikoff is an endocrinologist. That means they also deal with men's issues. She has no interest. If I had listened to her my life would have been awful. I'm healthier now than I was at 19. My cholesterol went ftom196 to 132. I'm currently studying for the CA bar exam.
