Unfortunately, for the first meeting the interaction was uncomfortable. I understand it was the end of the day, but the behavior I as the translator and my mother, the patient, received was unacceptable. It felt rushed, there was limited patience and no space to build rapport. At times, her tone was condescending. I do however appreciate that she apologized towards the end, but it left a disappointment feeling.
After my prior nurse practitioner retired, I did some research on the doctors available here at Kaiser springfield. I was delighted to find Dr. Janet Dougherty. At that time the reviews were only found on Kaiser's website. Everything I read was true. She is very knowledgeable, thorough, courteous, considerate, and addresses all your concerns. I wouldn't want any other doctor for Internal Medicine. She truly cares about the patient and what they're going through. She's golden!
Dr. Janet Marry is a good Doctor she is trying the real cause of a probelm and try to help me and understand me about the the sickness.
Dr. Dougherty is extremely patient, thorough, empathetic, kind and is a terrific doctor.
