Although she was can be incredibly thoughtful and thorough with her care, she has been pretty aggressive and dismissive at the fact that I was experiencing issues navigating her residence staff and did not want to be a guinea pig with them on my treatment as, despite trying to keep as open of a mind as possible, two of them have neglected to fully listen to me, help with my treatment, and identify major health issues that she only seemed to. Dr. Barkhou is thee best doctor I have had in YEARS. She takes her time with you. She really tries to help you with any concern or issue you may have. I have had many doctors fail me in the past due to negligence and even medical malpractice so I have a hard time trusting any doctor. She is def a gem and an amazing doctor. Dr. Barkhou is one of the kindest and helpful doctors I’ve come across. As a new patient, she made an effort to look at my chart and review my medical history ahead of time. She discussed her concerns with me and developed a plan to address/treat my medical issues. It really made me feel like she cares which is something I rarely experience with medical professionals. I highly recommend her!
