theres a foot of snow outside and we dont even get a 2 hr delay. we cant even get out of our driveway

RecommendedI am thankful for the school district of Janesville! My children benefited greatly from all the great options and choices available to them. And the kindness of their teachers and principals were so important! I enjoy watching the great opportunities and successes on face book - truly an amazing district! Thank you Janesville!

There's a city-wide problem with bullying from students & staff, as well as a learning environment that doesn't encourage LEARNING. I've gone to the School District on several occasions, but I guess the "good ol boy club" is there too. Edison just hired a staff member this year who ACTUALLY gets it, but of course they've tied her hands. It's so sad how 20-some years later & not much has improved.
I think the zero tolerance for bullying is a joke, it is not enforced at Madison elementary that's for sure!
