I saw Dr Vilderman for a sty under my eyelid that was quite painful. She examined the eye and determined it was a sty and advised me to use moist hot (ish) compress on it . I was given a Rx for an ointment to use 3x a day. It brought down the swelling & redness of the eyelid & greatly reduced the pain. This treatment continues for 3 days. Thanks Dr Vilderman! P.S. Dr V is knowledgeable, informative, & pleasant.
