Of the many therapists I have seen, I could not recommend Jane Statlander-Slote less. I had not read the reviews before seeing her because I needed to see the first person I could. Reading through the other reviews, I agree: I do not know how she's still allowed to practice. She is astoundingly unprofessional and rude. Any LGBT+ person should stay far away from her; she is cruel, unprofessional, and unsafe.
Only giving 1 star because it requires that.!! The guy that answers the phone...his name is Josh, very, very rude! Looked up the therapist Jane Stratlander and she has bad reviews, he said I could get her or whoever is available for appointments. I tried to keep talking and asking some questions, he said, "oh my god" and hung up on me. Don't believe a wd he says!! DISGUSTING!!!!!!
Only giving one star because I have to. Whatever you do, PLEASE stay away from this place. They are the rudest and most unprofessional place I’ve ever encountered when trying to seek mental health services. They will charge you over $200 for services when they state they take your insurance and services will be covered. This lady charges your hour of counseling WHILE YOU SIGN PAPERWORK! This so called "therapist" is truly a scammer only in it for the money. She misdiagnosed me and my daughter with schizoaffective disorder which lead us both to being on extremely dangerous medication. It wasn't until I saw someone else who a friend recommended, that we learned we were MISDIAGNOSED and only had OCD.
