This doctor is one of the best we have ever had! In addition to being an excellent physician and surgeon she is a very kind and caring person, patiently answering any questions you may have in any length you would like to discuss. Her staff is also excellent! Probably closer to 4.9 stars because parking sometimes can be sparse.
I apologize in advance for this lengthy review but I hope it can be useful for other people. I am a 46 year old women diagnosed with BRCA1. Dr. Jane L. Kakkis is an extraordinary surgeon and human being. My gynecologist referred me to Dr. Kakkis last year due to family history of breast cancer and possible BRCA mutation. My diagnosis of BRCA1 mutation was positive. Dr. Kakkis immediately requested an ultrasound of my breasts and MRI screening to rule out breast cancer, and full mastectomy to follow.
