Nice trailhead. Small shelter, bathroom although not one I would use.
This is a wide path, maintained but not paved. Fine for walkers, bikes, runners. Straight path, no incline, very well shaded for the portion we did which was the first 4 miles north starting at Wes block trailhead. Did not see much wildlife, also not much view of the river, there are few spots you see it but overall its tree lined. Stay on the path because there is definitely poison ivy along the edges.
