My experience with Jandson Homes has been extremely frustrating and stressful. They issued the Practical Completion Inspection despite the fact that key contracted works—specifically landscaping—were clearly incomplete, which prevented me from occupying my home as planned. They ignored their contractual obligations regarding liquidated damages and added interest to the final invoice. The house was built by apprentices and the inspector was paid off, we got our own inspector and he was shocked! 300 pages on a report on defects. Disappointed is an understatement! Avoid them or you’ll regret it!
The workmanship I seen in Austral from this builder is absolutely disgusting. I would not recommend building with them at all unless you want headaches to follow.
Unfortunately, my experience with Jandson Homes has been riddled with ongoing issues and poor workmanship. After settling in June 2024, a number of significant problems emerged, each revealing a lack of quality control and care in the build process which include: - Water Leak from Ceiling: A persistent leak from the ceiling appeared shortly after moving in. Excellent customer service from Julie. Denise and Ashton were very helpful through out the build and even after the house was completed. Really good quality materials. Delivered on promised time line. Very happy with final product and looking forward to build with Jandson Homes again.
