Working with Jan to develop a landscape and hardscape plan for our property has been a most enjoyable process for my husband and me. Jan has been good at incorporating our needs/wants into the design, establishing quality exterior living spaces, using native planting materials, and enhancing the unique qualities of our site. As an added bonus, she has linked us up with quality contractors. We recommend her highly.
We worked with Jan on a small project at our home when we moved to Easton a number of years ago. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the kinds of plants that would work were far beyond our expectations. The pictures of her larger bodies of work make me jealous!
In the landscape design field there are many designers who are great designers. There are also many designers who know and love plants. Jan Kirsh fulfills both requirements well which is a much rarer thing. She has designed two gardens for me in two different houses and I love them both..
My wife and I have worked with Jan on several projects over the last 10 years. All have turned out brilliantly. Our hedgerow is a true thing of beauty as are our pool plantings. Everything looks as if it belongs exactly where it is and the garden/landscaping has interest in all seasons. Plus she's lots of fun to work with.
We have worked with Jan over the last 18 months. Our former landscape had “good bones” and Jan amplified, diversified and harmonized the finished product into a garden that encompassed the entirety of our property. Jan accomplished this by cleverly grouping native plants and trees creating something of interest wherever and whenever you look.
