I have been coming to see Dr Kamler for years, and last year he was present with another Dr at CHOMP to do emergency surgery on my stomach. I was so relieved to see him there with my surgeon. He is such a kind, caring Dr who takes all the time you need to explain your situation. I saw him again today and it is just a joy to see his smile. I hadn't seen Dr Kamler in eight years, but he was so friendly, compassionate and well informed, that I remembered him fondly. When my primary doctor gave his name as a choice for referral, I chose him immediately. I was shocked to read the bad review from a week ago. Dr. Kamler was incredibly dismissive, non-engaging and cynical when it came to my concerns with my care. Before examining me, he initially said that I had hemorrhoids and nothing to worry about because I was healthy. After the exam on the table, he said that I did not have hemorrhoids. I tried to speak to him about my family history of colon cancer in which he told me that I am too young and that if I had cancer it would've showed up on my CT scan.
