Throughout my prenatal 'care' with Dr. Goodwin, I realized she was more of a 'my way or the highway' doctor. She didn’t take questions or alternative perspectives well, always seemed defensive, and was never open to learning new ideas. A few examples: 1) When I was going through intense IBS flare-ups exacerbated by the pregnancy, with severe pain in my stomach, Dr. Goodwin would dismiss my feelings of stomach pains and say that it wasn't possible to have pain there. 2) When I mentioned possible natural means of softening the... read more
She’s very pushy about birth control. She diagnosed me with something, did not explain to me what it was, and did not test me for what it was or offer any treatment. I went to a different doctor and found out that it was nothing even close to what she diagnosed me with nor is it as serious. Bedside manner is not the best as well. I will not be going back to her and I do not recommend other young girls to go to her either. Go to someone else who will care about the baby and THE MOTHER. She did not care about me after having my son, brushed me and my postpartum depression off as if I didn't matter. I needed to go to counseling and therapy, but she said going to therapy was a waste of time and all they would do is give me medication. She was snooty and rude after having my son during my 6 week postpartum check ups. Dr. Goodwin is hands down the best at what she does. I love this office and the care they give their pts
Dr Goodwin is very professional and knowledgable while being caring, patient and kind. Very up to date on medical conditions as well a a great surgeon! Cancer/surgery. Highly recommend. No regrets!
