I received a speeding ticket leaving Floydfest 2025. I wanted to contest it and I live out of state so I hired Janet Murrell, an attorney in Floyd. She handled everything so I did not to have to travel to appear in court. She did an amazing job representing me and I was thrilled with the outcome. I would recommend her if you need representation in Floyd County, Va.

Jim Terry Shortt is one of the most unprofessional unethical people I’ve ever encountered, had an existing case representing my ex and was somehow appointed attorney for cps for the state with my other ex and did EVERYTHING he could to cost me custody of my son to help his clients case. Used things for evidence that he would not have had access to had he not been on that case. A conflict of interest. Typical shady Tazewell County chicanery!!
