Just left this so called doctor's office. His staff was polite (the only reason he is getting any rating). He has an unbelievable ego on him. He had the nerve to say that six other medical professionals (3 doctors & 3 nurse practitioners) plus a radiologist (whose specialty is to read catscans) had misdiagnosed me over the past two months. He stated that these professionals (anyone but him) didn't know what an ear infection looked like and constantly misdiagnosed them. I needed a new ENT since I've from out of state and was referred by Primary Dr. The office visit lasted about 20 mins and they wanted a $150 co pay and I was livid. I have BCBS which is one of the best and I've never had issues ever. I went back and forth with the office and my insurance to find out he codes his office visit 2 codes which triggers a surgery Co pay and they refused to change it. Never had this happen before, seems they are acting insurance for more money which hurts the patient and drives our premiums up.
Impossible to get test results or diagnosis after test. Waste of time, ended up had to find another dr.
Dr. McIlwaine has always been easy to contact and he and his staff are very helpful when I need care. He always goes out of his way to provide excellent care for me.
