I was fortunate enough to have had Dr. Alderfer assigned as my cardiologist during a recent two-week hospital stay that included about a week in the ICU. Even though the primary reason for my hospitalization wasn't cardiac-related, I do have some ongoing cardiac issues he continually monitored during my stay. Personable and really listened to my questions and explained in a way a non medical individual could understand.
Dr. Alderfer has been my dad's cardiologist for 20+ years. But something has changed in that office. The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left is doing. If you reach an actual person when you call, they will tell you something different than the previous 3 people did. If you aren't able to speak to an actual person and you leave a message, no one calls back. If they finally do, they call right before they go off duty.
