Had my son with Dr coins for 3 to 4 years Dr coins never removed a medication. Dr coyne's always added medications. Upon a massive chronic seizure Dr coins would not help refused and kicked me off his premises for trying to ask a question. Eleanor screamed at me I have no use for these people. My son is now in a major psychosis trying to correct the medication problems Mr coins started.

I have found Dr. Coin to be an excellent listener and an outstanding neurologist. He has patiently listened to and diagnosed my issues and recommend several options for me. I almost never have to wait when I show up for my visits, and ALL his staff are extremely polite and professional. Eleanor has been totally outstanding in her assistance with all my calls and inquiries. So very easy to give Dr. Coin and ALL his staff 5 STARS! I couldn't hope to find a better neurologist.

After my neurologist moved out of the area, I needed a new neurologist. Obtaining my medical records would have been an easy undertaking, all I needed was the office fax number. Patricia would not provide it. What she did instead, was to put the office manager, Eleanor, on the phone. She was even less helpful and said “If you don’t want to follow our guidelines, then perhaps you need a different neurologist “. I replied, “Wow. That is very professional “

I would definitely recommend Dr. Coin. Very friendly staff and he spends as much time as you need answering questions. He diagnosed me when five previous neurologists could not.

Responding to the earlier commenter posting in April 2017. Please be advised that the hardworking front desk and scheduling staff at Dr. Coin's office are not his "wife". I've known Dr. Coin's wife personally and as a patient of Dr. Coin's for years. To slur her reputation on "Health Grades" is unfair and undignified! Dr. Coin, his wife, and his employees are all caring and compassionate people.

We have had issues with getting medictations (medically necessary) filled and sent to our pharmacy. Our pharmacy even tries to make contact and can't get in touch with them. On top of this, the staff is not welcoming or friendly and on many occasions, has been argumentative and has threatened to withhold medication. They do not call back about labs and schedule based on their availability without flexibility. Overall, we are very disappointed with this practice and will be changing doctors.

After seeing 6 specialists over the course of a year, I was directed to Dr Coin to help find out what happened after a surgery that left me disabled and in severe pain. Dr Coin found the problem in 1 visit. Thanks to him, not only was the problem discovered, but he helped me through the disability factor life comfortable. In my mind, he's the BEST! But not only my mind. I won't see anyone else for neurology issues!

Compassionate, brilliant diagnostic MD (with a Ph.D., too); obscure diseases don't elude him.

His staff is what brings his service down. I have been going to him for 2 years now and tried to re-schedule an appointment and played phone tag for weeks with them. Then when trying to get a prescription re-filled she said I would have to come in that day in 2 hours or would have to wait until after the holidays. Who puts you on a medicine that makes you sick if you can't take it and then says enjoy your holiday without it. Horrible place. And Dr. Coin had no idea about migraines.
