Dr. Kappen is an amazing neuropsychologist. During my evaluation, he was attentive, detail-oriented, empathic, and a great person. I would recommend anyone.

I met Dr. Kappen earlier this summer for an evaluation for my 7 yr old son. My son has epilepsy and our family has had quite the journey since this diagnosis. We met with Dr Kappen to evaluate cognitive dysfunctions, behavior disorders, fine motor skills, etc, to determine which of these may have been affected by seizures. I have been diagnosed with bipolar type 2 disorder and have suspicions of ADHD as well. Whatever I have, it has been debilitating in every aspect of my life. I am proud of myself for having the strength to face my mental illness and see it for what it is and also accept it for what it is and be willing to work on it.
