Dr. Callis was my vascular doctor for about 15 years. I suffered a Subarachnoid Brain Hemorrhage while visiting my former NY home town on 8/11/2001. During the search for the leaking blood vessel in my head, my right carotid artery suffered a dissection. Such a caring doctor with a great bedside manner. Worked me in during my time of need with blood clots after orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Callis was my surgeon for my total thyroidectomy in Oct. Hands down he is the best!! Every appointment, he takes the time to listen and explain things, surgery went excellent as well as recovery!! Dr Callis has an EXCELLENT bedside manner. He met me in pre-op before surgery and came and personally took me to the OR ...making me feel very at ease and comfortable joking etc right before “lights out”... met with my family afterwards to go over surgery and details etc...Dr. Callis is top notch!!
One of the finest doctors. He did a beautiful job leaving no scar. 2 nurses told me if you have to have thyriod surgery, Dr. Calling is the doctor to go to. He introduced me to his surgical team making me feel comfortable. He had excellent follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Callis.
