I really think James Street is a great place to come and see if you are visiting Brisbane for the first time. But it is a pain for locals. Parking is a premium, the cost of goods are quite high and there are people everywhere. But the coffee was good, service was friendly and it is worth seeing people from all over the world here to visit the precinct including around the Calile. So only go if you are up to a crowd and mingling with plenty of people for an overpriced lunch.
