Horrible experience, Dr. Spears was so rude. When concerned about a mass in my arm he seemed to make fun of me. He asked do you have a history of cancer in your arm? When I said no his response was, well that would be random. The inability to raise an arm for months is no big deal. Was pretty much told to deal with it, he was extremely rude. Dr. Spears treated me as though I was a waste of his time. I felt that because I was not an athlete in pristine shape that I should not have seen him. He actually stated that he did not understand why my PCP office had sent me to see him since I am not a candidate for surgery. He took all the hard work I have done to try to better myself and cut it down. Basically I was too old and fat for his time.
The best hands to help. Just had surgery yesterday. His whole team delivered above and beyond. I can relax knowing discomfort is temporary while I heal and confidence in him to put me back together again after a motorcycle accident two years ago. My husband trusts him and Bellin Ortho just as much after his right shoulder surgery.

I am very happy with the care my husband received from Dr. Spears and his team. Everything was very organized. We felt well-informed leading up to surgery, at discharge and afterwards. He took time to thoroughly inform me how surgery went and the the steps he took during the shoulder arthroscopy. I would highly recommend him!
