Dr James Spears was not good to me he was very rude and disrespectful and unprofessional and he stood up a foot in front of me and used hurst tone with me and got my PTSD way up and he asked me why I had a medical bracelet on for and he was telling me about my weight and he asked his nurse how much weight I lost and she said 9 lb since the last visit and he told me that it was not good enough and I actually lost 12 pounds and he was scaring me and I would never trust him with my care and I would not trust him with my pet bun... read more
I'm grateful for having an outstanding experience with Dr. Spears and his medical team. Dr. Spears performed multiple procedures on my left shoulder and clavicle area. The first procedure was a surgery that had some substantial repairing to do in a few different areas. My second procedure was a manipulation process that was performed to unlock my shoulder. Horrible experience, Dr. Spears was so rude. When concerned about a mass in my arm he seemed to make fun of me. He asked do you have a history of cancer in your arm? To top it off his assistant sat there playing with her hair and checking out her split ends, I was obviously an inconvenience. I had no idea having a mass is something that doesn't requi... read more
Dr. Spears treated me as though I was a waste of his time. I felt that because I was not an athlete in pristine shape that I should not have seen him. He actually stated that he did not understand why my PCP office had sent me to see him since I am not a candidate for surgery. He took all the hard work I have done to try to better myself and cut it down. Basically I was too old and fat for his time.
The best hands to help. Just had surgery yesterday. His whole team delivered above and beyond. I can relax knowing discomfort is temporary while I heal and confidence in him to put me back together again after a motorcycle accident two years ago. My husband trusts him and Bellin Ortho just as much after his right shoulder surgery.
