My partner booked in for an MOT and Service and had changes done to their car without contacting us first and was then charged for it. Made for a nasty suprise in the final total of costing. They also would not provide an MOT and Service quote before doing it. So we had to go in blind. Feel taken advantage but that's what we get for not shopping around first. Would have shopped around
I transferred my business to this garage after being ripped off by another garage in Hebden and have never looked back. I use them for all Mot works, services, mechanical works and more recently body work. Not a great experience. After a VERY expensive “full” service, I noticed a faulty indicator that wasn’t related to the bulb or fuse but rather an electrical issue. When I brought this up, I was condescendingly informed that indicators aren’t checked during a full service (silly me for thinking a full service actually meant full service!). To make matters worse, I was told I’d have to wait a week for an appointment to fix it (guess I’ll be using hand signals in the meantime) and, of course, it wouldn’t be free of charge.
Just bought my next car from James Shepherd of Hebden Bridge. Totally professional salesman Mark did everything to make our purchase faultless. Car came with full service and new MOT. Although not the size of large dealerships, their attitude to potential customers is spot on. Totally and highly recommended
LOVE THESE GUYS , Lee and Wez top blokes and there mechanics work is second to none, reasonably priced and I can't recommend them enough, so if you ever have car troubles and your in Hebden Bridge, give these guys a ring 😀
