I have been a nurse for 40 plus years and when o had RUQ abdominal pain and nausea post cholecystectomy, I knew I needed an EUS and ERCP. I went to Texas Health Rockwall, where I was given IV antibiotics and fluids but they didn’t have a physician to do the tests needed. This is long overdue. My wife and I would like to thank god for Dr. Burdick. My wife had a perforated esophagus from a surgical procedure and was declining rapidly and nearing death due to all the poisons and side effects of the perforation. Dr. Burdick used a rare specialty, the Endo Sponge procedure to clog or fill the perforation that allowed the body to heal internally and close the perforation over time.
