Unfortunately, I would not recommend going with James River Pools. My husband and I worked with Ryan and Gary for our outdoor kitchen, fire pit, and replacement of our cracked patio. Overall communication was highly lacking, timeliness was poor (they broke ground in September 2025- we were told in October that it would take three weeks to complete; here we are in March and the project was still not completed), and breech of contract (not completed in oct/nov as outlined in the contract; and they did not order the materials i... read more
Owner-operated pool installer. Ongoing issues with communication throughout the project. Current leaking issue reported at install remains unresolved, and multiple follow-ups—including direct outreach to ownership—have gone unanswered. At this point, we cannot even get the basic courtesy of a reply. Disappointing given the scope and cost of the project. Looking for resolution.
