Horrible customer service. No consistency in service. Impossible to reach a supervisor. The crews are lazy, the site managers are incompetent and the company does not provide the services for which they are contracted and paid to do.

Mr. Romeo is a good man! My garden is in containers because I live in an HOA neighborhood, and a few of my seedlings were accidentally hit by a mower. The damage is understandable because the landscapers were trying to cut the lawn and probably were not sure how to go about it. I emailed the company to ask if they could be mindful of my plants, and Mr. Romeo stated that he would talk to his team about the situation. He even offered replacements! I am thankful for his good management and people skills.

James River Grounds Management is one of the worst landscaping companies. There is no on-site management of staff, they damage our lawns with their heavy duty lawn equipment when the ground is completely saturated, they do not pick up broken limbs but instead walk over them, when pruning they leave the trimmings in the mulch beds, it's a hit and miss job when pruning, they leave mud balls on the sidewalk areas, cars, and siding after edging, they do not return to correct damaged lawn areas, they do not kill the weeds in the ... read more
