This historical building is so much more than a furniture store. When we walked in Deborah greeted us and took a few minutes to share some of the amazing history of the businesses that have occupied the space. What was one a bowling alley, theatre and funeral home is now full of incredibly well made and beautifully crafted furniture. This was a great surprise to start off our museum day.
Vast selection of furniture accompanied by kind and knowledgeable employees who are more than familiar with their merchandise and the rich history of Reid’s upholstery and undertaking.
A historic gem in the heart of Kingston. A vast array of beautiful furniture in a building with so much history. Lisa was wonderful and showed us around the store. Will definitely recommend to others.
We recently had a wonderful experience at James Reed furniture on Princess Street in Kingston. Lisa Dykstra took the time and interest in our needs gave us space to look around but was available for all of our questions and concerns and helped with the design decisions. We ended up purchasing two lovely chairs and a beautiful wool area rug. Best of all the chairs were Canadian made.
James Reid Furniture has a 4.6 star rating with 27 reviews.
