In the summer of 2024, we started exploring the idea of our lake home renovation. We really had no idea what we wanted, or how to accomplish it, so we started by interviewing several lake home builders. We had James R Taylor at our home to take down all the metal soffit and metal flashing and put up all new metal around our home. 1 month after they completed the installation work the new metal started blowing off our house. They came out and reattached the metal & we pointed out all the bad gaps and holes they left between the seams. They just grinned when we asked them why it was never caulked or sealed. 2 months later more metal blew off from the east facing gable.
