On our way to Camden we stayed 1 night on 8/8/25 in the blue room. Beautiful peaceful Inn with very comfortable beds and linens. Bill and Mary are very friendly and the breakfast was delicious, we had quiche with a potato base. Very close walking distance to LL Bean and the outlets. I will be staying here again when visiting Freeport.
This was our first experience at a B&B. Anytime I find myself going to Maine, I will stay at the James Place Inn. We have already talked about going back. Even though it was just off Main St. We slept with the windows open, no fan, and there was NO traffic noise. Within 5 min walking distance of LL Bean and all the outlet shopping. A huge variety of restaurants. Less than 30 minute drive to Reid or Popham Beach.
All I can say is I can't wait to go back. Home away from home although is cleaner and quieter and has a better garden!
